Dr. Vollmer completed his training at Logan College of Chiropractic in 2020, after pursuing an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Illinois. He was a student athletic trainer with the U of I football team and has completed specific training in the management of chronic pain.
His clinical training was preceded by nine years of intelligence work with the United States Air Force. Dr. Vollmer practices evidence-based, short-term care and has a strong interest in rehabilitation.
He is currently completing a specialization in spinal and sports rehabilitation. Dr. Vollmer is a Mercy staff physician and the team physician for Grandview School District.
